Seit geraumer Zeit zeigt euch GIGA OnlineWelten jede Woche Dienstags um 20 Uhr alles über MMORPGS. Das Archlord-Welten.de-Team wurde eingeladen, um Archlord bei GIGA OnlineWelten vorzustellen:

Lange fand der Online-Ringkrieg hinter geschlossenen Türen statt - diese Zeiten sind vorbei! GIGA OnlineWelten steigt jetzt ein in den epochalen Kampf zwischen gut und böse. Seid dabei, wenn wir das allererste Mal Oger kloppen und fiese Orkse zum Tee einladen.
Epochal geht es dann weiter: Der Archlord hat ungeahnte Fähigkeiten im gleichnahmigen Spiel. Das MMO ist erst seit einiger Zeit auf dem Markt und ist nun kostenlos im Unterhalt. Grund für uns, Euch diese Alternative vorzustellen.  Link: GIGA Empfang + Livestream

This event is for all races, for mounted players of levels 35-45.
Berceluna sighed as she rolled up the parchment and stacked it on a pile of similar looking scrolls. She strode over to the window and regarded Deribelle below her. How she longed to be out fighting, rather than dealing with diplomats and their politics! Still, the messages she had received were clear: sightings of raiding groups and now direct attacks on Laflesia. She frowned. It would not do – she was starting to look incompetent.
Turning back to her desk, she picked up the latest report from Captain Verynna. As she looked at the numbers the Captain had listed, she tapped the parchment.
We are short of cavalry, she thought. She moved back to the window, and considered the options. As her eyes passed over the delicate bridges and towers of the city, she smiled. It was a long time since they had hosted a joust at Deribelle. It would entertain the whole city and Aratama was sure to approve.

This event will run on the 27th January, and will take place on both servers.
Gaiahon 15:00 GMT 27th January (10:00 EST)
Brumhart 23:00 GMT 27th January (18:00 EST)
Mounts cannot be used on the Battle Square, so this contest will take place just outside the Southern Gate of Deribelle. All entrants will receive 50 Letters of Pardon for taking part in the competition to compensate for villain points received during the fight.
The following Rules apply:
*) Each contest is a knockout tournament with matches drawn randomly.
*) Only 16 players can register for each server.
*) Only levels 35-45 can take part in the event.
*) All players must fight on a mount and with a mounted weapon, which can be purchased from *) your race NPC mount vendor.
*) All competitors must register by 22:00 GMT Friday 26th January. Please post your server plus character name.
*) The contest will be refereed by Verynna.
*) No resurrections are permitted.
*) It is your responsibility to get to the event on time!
*) Anyone not present at the starting time will be disqualified, and their opponents will pass to the next round.
*) Substitutions made after the registration deadline are at the discretion of the support GM.
*) If you disconnect, your fight will be postponed only until the end of the round.
*) A win is awarded once the opposing player is defeated.

For a bit of fun i thought i'd organise an all night war night for Saturday the 26th starting at 10pm GMT. Depending how many guilds we get signing up we can see about making it a regular event. The idea is to get 5 or 6+ guilds to sign up and do a night of war after war after war. If your guild is interested sign up here and we can get the ball rolling.

This event is for all races, and for 16 teams of 2 players over level 15
Hrothwig threw himself into his chair and thumped his helm onto the table in front of him, where it rocked briefly before settling. He nodded his gratitude as Grumthag handed him a large mug.
"Hmmm...I guess some of these fighters have some backbone after all," he admitted grudgingly to Grumthag, who smiled briefly showing his sharpened teeth. "Good to see we had at least one orc amongst the winners." He swallowed some of the rough brew, ignoring the bitterness. "Can't have those elves and humans showing us orcs up, can we?"
His second shook his head. "Did many show?"
"Enough for a few fights, but not enough for a serious challenge," Hrothwig replied, looking annoyed. With a sudden movement he banged his fist on the table, the helm rocking again. "Send out word! We need more challengers!" He sighed as he drained his mug, heaving his heavy boots onto the table top and leaned the chair back. "Can't have the fate of Chantra resting on the shoulders of a few experienced fighters. We're going to need more...many more."
Take Hrothwig's Challenge!
Hrothwig is holding a series of 5 contests over 5 weeks – there are four left. Contests will take place on both servers and contestants will battle to become Champions of each Element in turn. Anyone can enter except the winners of a contest in this series.The days and times will be changed for each contest. The Rules are as follows:
Each contest is a team knockout tournament with teams drawn randomly.
Only 16 teams in each contest.
Each team must have 2 players, of any level above 15.
All competing Teams must register by 16:00 GMT Tuesday 23rd January. Please post your server plus both character names.
All contests will take place in the Core Arena of the Battle Square, under the guidance of Hrothwig.
Guild mates cannot fight each other on the Battle Square, so if you wish to compete against Guild mates, please see the designated GM 30 minutes before the Contest and they will remove you from your Guild. It will be your responsibility to rejoin your Guild.
Resurrections are not permitted in the Battle Square.
It is your responsibility to get to the Battle Square on time!
Any teams not on the Battle Square at the starting time will be disqualified, and their opponents will pass to the next round.
Substitutions made after the registration deadline are at the discretion of the support GM.
If you disconnect, your fight will be postponed only until the end of the round.
A win is awarded once both members of a Team are defeated.
The five winning teams, one from each contest, will be invited back for a special tournament where they will compete for the title 'Elemental Champion'.

This event is for all races, and for levels below 25.
Yesterday, a suspicious-acting human was stopped and questioned on his way into Laflesia. Sadly, he panicked and ran and was quickly felled by the sharp-shooting of the City Guards. The only things found on him were a map of the City, some coins, and an unsigned letter. The crumpled letter had obviously seen some travel, and included the following words:
"We have been trusted with a grave task, cousin. The three cities Trilgard, Delfaras and Laflesia are to be scouted in advance of an attack, and I have been chosen for this deed. As you are already in the Elven lands I have sent this letter with a trusted friend, for I won’t make it in time. Troops are re-gathering and will be ready to attack before this week is out."
Someone, it seems, is not happy to let peace prevail.
Protect the Cities!
This event will run at regular intervals over the 19th and 20th January, on both servers.
Armies will move against one of the following cities: Delfaras, Trilgard or Laflesia. The armies will contain creatures of levels 25 and below, making this event only suitable for players below level 25.
There is no prize for this event except normal drops and experience.
Please note that there will be no reimbursements of any experience, gold or item loss that occurs during this event.

Im Offizielen CM Forum von Archlord ist ein interessanter Thread aufgetaucht. In diesem Thread wird von einem Skill Namens "knight invisibility" gesprochen. Der Skill verändert zwar keine Stats aber wie der Name schon verrät, macht er euren Charakter unsichtbar. Nichts besonderes aber es ist nett anzusehen wie nur ein Schild und ein Schwert auf die Monster einschlagen.
Leider ein etwas schlechterer Screenshot,
jedoch wird das Bild etwas besser wenn ihr ihn vergrößert!
Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass unser Screenshot ein Grafikfehler enthält und somit leider nicht der Wahrheit entsprach. Trotzdem ganz lustig :-)

Das ganze ist ein kleines 2 gegen 2 Turnier und es werden 5 Wochen lang die besten Teams gesucht. Das heisst aus jeder Woche qualifiziert sich ein Team welches dann in einen speziellen Event eingeladen wird, indem sie sich den Titel des "Elemental Champion" sichern können.
Die Even Zeiten:
Gaiahon: 20:00 GMT 15th January < 21:00Uhr Deutscher Zeit
Brumhart 02:00 GMT 16th January < 03:00Uhr Deutscher Zeit
Registrierung:
Registrieren könnt ihr euch in folgendem Thread bis Montag 13:00 Deutscher Zeit. Schreibt einfach die Namen von euch und eurem Teammitglied und den Server in einen Post in diesem Thread.

Regeln:
Jeder Wettbewerb ist ein Team-Knock-Out Turnier mit zufällig gewählten Begegnungen.
Nur 16 Teams per Wettbewerb.
Jedes Team muss 2 Spieler mit einem Level über 15 haben.
Jedes teilnehmende Team MUSS sich vor Montag 13:00(CET)in dem unten stehenden Thread registrieren. Bitte schreibt eure CharakterNamen und den Server dazu.
Alle Wettbewerb werden in der "Core Arena" des Battle Square unter der Leitung von Hrothwig abgehalten.
Gildenkollegen können sich im Battlesquare nicht bekämpfen, wenn ihr also gegen eure Gildenkollegen antreten wollt, besucht bitte 30 Minuten bevor der Wettbewerb gewinnt den dafür vorgesehenen GM und sie werden euch aus der Gilde entfernen. Es in eurer Verantwortung der Gilde wieder beizutreten.
Wiederbelebungen sind im Battle Square nicht erlaubt.
Die Spieler haben die Verantwortung sich zur angesagten Zeit im Battle Square einzufinden.
Jedes Team was es nicht pünktlich zum Battle Square schafft wird disqualifiziert und ihre Gegner werden per "Default Win" in die nächste Runde kommen.
Der Wechsel von Teammitgliedern nach dem Ende der Registration ist nicht mehr möglich.
Wenn eure Verbindung zum Server unterbrochen wird, wird euer Kampf bis zum Ende der Runde verschoben.
Ein Team gewinnt sobald beide Mitglieder des gegnerischen Teams besiegt sind.
Die fünf Teams die diese Wettbewerbe für sich entscheiden, eins aus jedem, werden zu einem speziellen Turnier eingeladen und um den Titel des "Elemental Champion" kämpfen.

Erster Platz
Beide Teammitglieder gewinnen:
1* Meditation Elemental Stone (lvl 3)
5* gold chests
1* Talisman of Awakening 60 minutes
Dazu gewinnen sie eine Einladung zum "Combat of the Stones" Finale.

Bitte beachtet das dieser Event auf dem "Battle Square" stattfindet, Villain Punkte werden im Battle Square nicht berechnet. Jeder der versucht den Event zu stören wird aus dem "Battle Square" raus geschmissen. Weiterhin wird es keine Kompensation für Erfahrung, Gold oder Gegenstände die während des Events verloren gehen.
